Aposcopolamine (apohyoscine) is a tropane alkaloid found in Datura ferox and several species of Physochlaina. These plants belong to the nightshade family, Solanaceae, in which tropane alkaloids commonly occur, particularly in tribes Datureae and Hyoscyameae.
