Rocuronium bromide (brand names Zemuron, Esmeron), also referred to as "roc", is an aminosteroid non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocker or muscle relaxant used in modern anaesthesia to facilitate tracheal intubation by providing skeletal muscle relaxation for surgery or mechanical ventilation.
